INFINITT North America to Feature Web-based Dental PACS Solution at American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR)
Phillipsburg, NJ - October 8, 2009 -- INFINITT North America, a technology leader in web-based image and information management solutions, will be featuring the INFINITT Dental PACS solution at the AAOMR's 60th Annual Session, October 21 - 24, 2009 at the Seelbach Hilton Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
INFINITT Dental PACS includes web-based image display, an acquisition gateway and an image archive system. The Dental PACS allows health professionals to acquire, transmit, display, store and share digital dental images electronically.
INFINITT's web-based dental PACS acquires images from panoramic or cephalometric devices, Conebeam Computed Tomography (CBCT), or intra-oral sensors and displays them on a completely web-based viewer. The system can be interfaced with any HL7-compliant information system, including HIS, RIS, Practice Management Systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). The system also supports DICOM Modality Worklist and Storage Commitment Service. It conforms with ISO 3950 Tooth Code, an international standard for designating teeth, surfaces of the teeth, and areas of the oral cavity.
The INFINITT viewer provides image enhancement tools and has a unique display mode for Dental PACS: FMX Mode (full mouth X-ray display) displays a patient's total teeth position and provides a comparison function with a panoramic image.Templates help maintain the same radiographic pattern while reducing time for the arrangement of images.
The system supports a long-term electronic archive with redundant online storage systems. Current and prior studies can be displayed at anytime from any modality.
Alternatively, customers may choose the INFINITT Smart-NET PACS/ASP solution which allows users to access dental images and analytical tools on a fee-per-study basis, while INFINITT handles archiving, security issues and disaster recovery.
